Perry leaves the stage. I guess if I have 2 candidates to choose from when I finally get a turn, I should consider myself lucky.
Also, why is it that all of these so-call diehard conservatives endorsing Gingrich (Perry and Palin)? They are clearly not looking at his track record. He has certainly flip flopped as much of Mittens. He has worked with Democrats when he was speaker. I thought that was an unforgiveable sin (see their views on Lugar). He certainly does not embody the notion of small government. Plus, he has some moral character issues.
Really there are only two difference between Gingrich and Romney.
a. Romney signed into law a bill that became the template for Obamacare. Conservatives are now wanting to punish him for it even though when that happened, the bill that Romney signed was consistent with conservative thought at the time.
b. Romney worships the wrong Jesus.
